Designed to fit fairly snug, Simply Merino thermal tops work great as a thin layer under all of your kid's favourite activity gear (hockey, skiing, skating, sledding, hiking, camping, etc). The natural fabric breathes, helping control body temperature, and wicks moisture away from the skin keeping bodies dry and cosy.

The thermal tops in the larger sizes (7/8, 9/10, & 11/12) were designed with thumb holes to keep wrists well covered as well. We also suggest sizing up as they do fit snug.

NOTE: Price is for top only - the pants are sold separately so you can mix and match colour and sizes.

Please write in the comment box when checking out if you would like us to add some wool for mending.  Let us know the colour and number of pieces you would like(max 6). Merino wool is incredibly durable, but we know first hand that kids can be hard on their clothes.

Great top for a small adult too
I am a petite adult and decided to buy this top in size 12 for myself after we bought a PJ's and a toque for my 4 years old daughter. This was my first ever merino cloathing and since the moment I have put it on I loved it and became one of the "living in my merino" people! The fit and quality are really good and I use it along with my size 12 Simply Merino thermal bottom as a underlayers or just as eryday top and bottom for not so cold days. I love the thumb holes as well especially on a chilly day. This purchase is one of those reasons that make me feel so lucky to be just 5'2 high

Pefect for sports
When my kids were little, they slept every night in Simply Merino pyjamas, but now that they are bigger we use these wonderful products mostly under their sports clothing. The top, bottom, and touque are perfect under ski clothes, and especially under soccer gear. My kids never complain about wearing them - they say the clothes are comfortable, keep them warm without being too warm (even when soaking wet on a rainy Vancouver soccer field), and are never itchy. I highly recommend these products and will always buy them. And I'm so glad they are a local product too.

We love the thermals!
I have been ordering these thermals for several years. My kids love wearing them all winter long under their rain gear or ski gear. I have washed them many many times and have always put them in the dryer. I am quite amazed with the quality. I am certain we will be getting the next size next year!

My kids live in their Merino wool tops. Rarely are they too warm like fleece/synthetics can be. Really great. We tried on Merino wool outfits at Icebreaker and MEC, but they were too itchy. These are not. I can't say how great they are. I only gave it 4 instead of 5 because the stitching on the cuff is starting to unravel, but my kids literally live in the stuff, so might just be normal wear and tear. This is the only item out of the 10 we bought that it is happening to as well, so might be a one off.

Perfect layer!
I bought this for my 1 year old daughter this winter- and sized up to a 2T so it would last for next year too. We are very happy with it- mostly wore it as a layer over a onesie for wintertime- sleeves a little long for her this year but roll up well, and the length is great so she doesn't get s cool tummy!. She LOVES it and is on constant rotation in her wardrobe! Great service- I loved that I could just come pick it up at Shannon's house! Thank you so much, and we will be buying more as she grows!
