Comfort Meets Sustainability

Merino wool is a renewable resource, making it one of the most sustainable fabrics available. With access to grass and water, their fleece naturally regenerates each year, providing a continuous and sustainable source.

Feel good about dressing your family in Simply Merino

Temperature Regulating

Merino wool naturally insulates in the cold by trapping air and keeps you cool in the heat by absorbing and releasing moisture.

Incredibly Soft

Merino wool is soft because its ultra-fine fibers—typically 18–24 microns—are smoother and gentler against the skin than regular wool.

Machine Washable

Merino wool’s naturally crimped fibers and smooth surface help it retain shape and resist shrinking, especially when washed gently with cool water and a wool-safe detergent.

Wicks Away Moisture

Merino wool keeps you dry by wicking moisture away from your skin and absorbing it into the fibers without feeling wet.

Hypoallergenic

Merino wool naturally wicks moisture and resists bacteria and dust mites, helping reduce allergen buildup.

Naturally Fire Resistant

Merino wool is naturally fire-resistant, thanks to its keratin-rich fibers and moisture content, which cause it to smolder rather than ignite.

Durable

Merino wool is durable because its fine, strong fibers are naturally elastic, allowing them to bend without breaking.

Biodegradable

Merino wool is fully biodegradable—cut it into small pieces and compost in soil, where it naturally breaks down within 12 months and enriches the earth.

Same great bike short but in a length that works with shorter dresses/skirts!

I love the bike short for wearing under skirts and dresses, and while I don't wear super short skirts/dresses, and I haven't had an issue with the length of the 8" short, I do appreciate that there is another option here.

I am so glad I ordered a pair of bike shorts! I’m currently 32 weeks pregnant and went with my pre-pregnancy size per the size chart and they fit. So much stretch. My sister (isn’t pregnant) tried them on and they also fit her well. I’m curious to try sizing down for a bit of compression. With how stretchy the shorts are I think I could. My only qualm with these shorts is the gusset sits a little oddly on me. Kinda bunches, doesn’t give a cameltoe but doesn’t lay flat either. I’m thinking it’s because of the preggo belly as it laid flat on my sister. But I mostly wear them under my little sundresses so it’s okay.

Perfect

I wear a size US 4-6; the size small is perfect. Smooth like butter; excellent quality. Great to wear under dresses, around the house, to bed, anytime.

Everything they say

These are my new secret weapon against chafing and sweat. Comfortable, well-made, breathable, basically a magical garment.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I store my wool?

If you are not wearing your wool regularly, we recommend storing it in a cedar chest or in a sealed Ziploc bag.

How should I wash my wool?

Always wash your wool on a delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Never use bleach.

How do I know what size to order?

Each product page contains a Size Chart to help you select the correct size based on body measurements. If you need any additional sizing information, please reach out to our customer service team. We know that online shopping can sometimes be frustrating, and we are always here to help!

Do moths really eat wool?

Moth and other bugs do like to nibble on most natural fibers, wool included. If you suspect you have moths, we recommend washing your wool, air dry, then freeze to kill any eggs that may be present. Storing your wool properly will prevent damage from bugs.
