Footed Tights

I will wear these to work but am a bit surprised by them - the material is very different than the leggings. I ordered my usual Simply Merino size and they feel tight and are too long for me (5'5"). They bunch up/wrinkle at the ankle and knees since they're too long, and at the end of the day I'm excited to take them off. The elastic makes them look really shiny, but maybe that's because they're too tight on me. They are not comfortable enough to lounge in.

I was also surprised that they are thicker/stiffer/more opaque than the regular leggings.

Finally found tights that fit and aren’t itchy! The Simply Merino tights are excellent quality and hold their shape after wearing all day. So glad I found Simply Merino!

I love love love the footed tights. Unfortunately after wearing them a second time, there is a hole at the big toe already (I have not even washed them yet.) Thankfully this amazing small business sends extra fabric swatches for repairs with their items! Unfortunately again, I don't know how to mend nor do I think it would be comfortable to do so at the toes. My toe nails were not too long or sharp at all, so I'm not sure how this happened so quickly or what I could do to prevent it. Because of this (and their price that would be otherwise worth it) I can't say I would purchase them again. But they are extremely comfortable, I have worn them once with a skirt and once as a layer under jeans and they were excellent.

Love the tights. As a tall gal, I followed the size recommendation to order a size up. They are too big, but workable. Wish I could’ve exchanged for a size down.

Totally opaque, can be worn as tights with skirts or as leggings with socks hiding the feet. The fabric wrinkles around my ankles, calves and knees and the waist falls down because they are too big, but they are comfy. Wash well. There is a seam down the leg which I wasn’t sure about, being tights, but it is almost invisible.

As someone who wears dresses to work daily I’ve been on the hunt for non-synthetic tights for YEARS. I wore them yesterday for the first time. They are beyond comfortable , breathable, perfect amount of compression. I like the higher rise with wide waist band . I am 5’2 and 140 lbs and ordered a medium. Hopefully they hold up in the wash.
