Comfort Meets Sustainability

Merino wool is a renewable resource, making it one of the most sustainable fabrics available. With access to grass and water, their fleece naturally regenerates each year, providing a continuous and sustainable source.

Feel good about dressing your family in Simply Merino

Temperature Regulating

Merino wool naturally insulates in the cold by trapping air and keeps you cool in the heat by absorbing and releasing moisture.

Incredibly Soft

Merino wool is soft because its ultra-fine fibers—typically 18–24 microns—are smoother and gentler against the skin than regular wool.

Machine Washable

Merino wool’s naturally crimped fibers and smooth surface help it retain shape and resist shrinking, especially when washed gently with cool water and a wool-safe detergent.

Wicks Away Moisture

Merino wool keeps you dry by wicking moisture away from your skin and absorbing it into the fibers without feeling wet.

Hypoallergenic

Merino wool naturally wicks moisture and resists bacteria and dust mites, helping reduce allergen buildup.

Naturally Fire Resistant

Merino wool is naturally fire-resistant, thanks to its keratin-rich fibers and moisture content, which cause it to smolder rather than ignite.

Durable

Merino wool is durable because its fine, strong fibers are naturally elastic, allowing them to bend without breaking.

Biodegradable

Merino wool is fully biodegradable—cut it into small pieces and compost in soil, where it naturally breaks down within 12 months and enriches the earth.

The best underwear

Great fit- they do not roll down or ride up! They stay put and are so soft and comfy

best underwear!

Once I started wearing these, I haven't wanted to wear anything else. They're so comfortable, the cut is flattering - high waisted but not too high. The only negative I have found is that they do wear out dramatically after a couple of years of wear (this includes washing only in cold water, and only ever hanging to dry) - they start shedding tiny bits of elastane everywhere as it starts to break down, and of course they bag out significantly and become somewhat transparent. This can hardly be considered a complaint, though - no fabric blend with elastane will last forever, and it certainly will not stop me from continuing to wear and purchase replacement pairs. Thanks as always to this little Vancouver company for making the coziest merino clothes to live in everyday!

Love

As everything else I've ordered from simply merino, the high waisted underwear are great. I would possibly consider downsizing (especially if you are someone like me who tends to order on the larger side)

Perfect for me!

Substantial but lightweight with great colors. I needed to size down due to some gapping on the upper thigh. I lack a little umph in my buttocks area. Once I sized down they were perfect. I’ll be ordering more colors.

Exactly what I hoped

I dislike changing outfits throughout the day to accommodate different activities. I wanted high waisted, natural panties that could carry me through my day, from scuttling about town to rock climbing to yoga. These are just the ticket. They’re lightweight and breathable enough to function well through sweaty activities and comfortable enough to sleep in. I’m 5’4, ~115 lbs, slim athletic build, and size small is perfect for me.

Frequently Asked Questions

How should I store my wool?

If you are not wearing your wool regularly, we recommend storing it in a cedar chest or in a sealed Ziploc bag.

How should I wash my wool?

Always wash your wool on a delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Never use bleach.

How do I know what size to order?

Each product page contains a Size Chart to help you select the correct size based on body measurements. If you need any additional sizing information, please reach out to our customer service team. We know that online shopping can sometimes be frustrating, and we are always here to help!

Do moths really eat wool?

Moth and other bugs do like to nibble on most natural fibers, wool included. If you suspect you have moths, we recommend washing your wool, air dry, then freeze to kill any eggs that may be present. Storing your wool properly will prevent damage from bugs.
