Just perfect

I love merino clothing and Simply Merino has some of the best colors and loveliest fabric textures. This waffle is plenty waffly without being heavy. There is an airiness that could not be realized in cotton, the waffle cloth I grew up with in the 1970s. This is lightweight, shaped but not tight and warm enough but breathes like you read about! Wearing it with capri or long merino leggings feels like barely being dressed! I always prefer pockets, which this lacks, but frankly if there were pockets it would make the thing less EZ to wear. The color espresso is elegant, still very dark, goes well with black but maintains that nice neutral hue that goes with so many warm tones as well. Pretty much perfect. Will be looking out for another color next year and for other waffle fabric items!

This dress is beautiful and very comfortable. I chose the espresso color which is very pretty. I think this casual style dress can be accessorized for a different look. I chose the small size for a tighter fit, and I don't regret it. It's perfect.

How should I store my wool?

If you are not wearing your wool regularly, we recommend storing it in a cedar chest or in a sealed Ziploc bag.

How should I wash my wool?

Always wash your wool on a delicate cycle with a gentle detergent. Never use bleach.

How do I know what size to order?

Do moths really eat wool?

Moth and other bugs do like to nibble on most natural fibers, wool included. If you suspect you have moths, we recommend washing your wool, air dry, then freeze to kill any eggs that may be present. Storing your wool properly will prevent damage from bugs.

When will an out-of-stock item be available?

Our Fall/Winter collection gets fully restocked in September, while our Spring/Summer collection restocks in April. Small restocks are done throughout the year. Restock notifications are available through our website by selecting the size and colour you are interested in and then providing your email address.
